Brion Fitzpatrick

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Atlanta - March 10, 2025 – The Georgia Solar Energy Industries Association (GASEIA) has elected new leadership. Brion Fitzpatrick of Nexamp has been elected President, and Noam Bar-Zemer of SolAmerica Energy was elected Vice President. Thomas Wilson of Brady Ware will serve as Secretary, and Kate McCormick of RWE is now Treasurer.

“This is a distinct honor to be elected President of Georgia SEIA by my peers,” said GASEIA’s new President Brion Fitzpatrick. “During my 17 years of developing and shaping solar policy in Georgia, I witnessed our past President, Pete Corbett, grow the local solar industry by leaps and bounds to a market that is now consistently ranked Top-10 in the country. I personally witnessed the creation of GASEIA, and I am very excited to build upon the successes of its past leaders. I intend on growing the organization at every level and working diligently with our elected officials to advance the benefits of solar energy for our members and all Georgians who stand to benefit from this unlimited and renewable resource.”

“First, I want to congratulate Brion on being elected President of GASEIA,” said James Marlow, Southface Institute President, and Co-Founder of Radiance Solar. “Brion brings a wealth of experience from his work at Nexamp and several Georgia-based organizations. He has worked at every level of solar in Georgia, and I am thrilled to see him take on this new role. Having witnessed Brion’s history of advocating for improving Georgia solar policy on the regulatory and legislative frontlines, I’m looking forward to seeing how he will use his new platform to advance clean energy policy for all of Georgia.”
